Why We Need Your Support
UW–Madison’s Wisconsin Tribal Educational Promise Program is a commitment to Wisconsin residents who are enrolled members of the eleven federally recognized Wisconsin American Indian tribes. This monumental initiative — developed in partnership with the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council — meets the full in-state cost of attendance for Wisconsin Native Nations students pursuing their first undergraduate degree.
Scholarship support from UW alumni and friends is a critical component of this program. Please consider making a gift to the Wisconsin Tribal Educational Promise Program to help Wisconsin Native Nations students continue to make a difference on campus and beyond for years to come.
“I am so proud, as a Native American, to receive the Wisconsin Tribal Educational Promise funds. This gift allowed me to return to school after 24 years away to finish my undergraduate degree. I hope other Wisconsin tribal members take advantage of this opportunity. Thank you, UW–Madison!”
