For 25 years, the Religious Studies Program has been the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s campus home for the academic study of religion. Our research and teaching use critical methods from the humanities and social sciences to approach religion as a transhistorical and global phenomenon that exists within and beyond religious traditions. Our faculty and students ask questions that get to the core of what matters, and how it comes to matter, to human lives.
How your gifts make an impact
Your gift, of any size, ensures that the Religious Studies Program will continue to flourish for the next 25 years and beyond. Your support enables the program to offer students interesting classes, keynote lectures, and well-earned celebrations that build community.
Why we need your support
Your contributions will help religious studies students continue to “study what matters” and make a difference on campus, in Wisconsin, and around the world.
