The Heart of UW–Madison
The College of Letters & Science is where discovery begins. As the university’s largest academic unit, L&S is home to the arts and humanities, the natural and physical sciences, and the social sciences. We enroll half of all UW–Madison undergraduates, and our faculty teach 65 percent of all undergraduate credit hours. If you’ve studied at UW–Madison, you’ve experienced L&S.
How Your Gifts Make an Impact
When you give to the College of Letters & Science Annual Fund, you support what matters most:
- a world-class undergraduate experience that extends beyond the classroom;
- research that pushes boundaries and shapes the world around us;
- cutting-edge teaching and learning environments; and
- a Wisconsin Experience that is inclusive, empowering, and transformative.
Most importantly, your gift helps students develop the critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that prepare them to lead in their careers, in their communities, and as informed, engaged citizens of the world.
Your gift helps every L&S student write their story — and it ensures that story starts here.
