For over a century, UW–Madison has been home to one of the top-ranking geography departments in the nation. The strength of our department is reflected in our ability to attract top-caliber students, compete for significant research funding, and win major awards. Our Geography Club members work hard to raise funds and organize departmental events such as Coffee Hour that connect students, faculty, and staff. Our External Relations Committee also organizes fundraising events. Unfortunately, these efforts are inadequate to reach the professional training needs of our devoted undergraduates. Your support will help our students conduct independent research, attend professional meetings, and land internships to launch their careers.
