Flags waving in the air

Gender & Sexuality Campus Center

In 1992, the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) was founded as a student organization to better serve the needs of LGBTQ+ students at UW–Madison and to create a sense of community and belonging on campus. Today, the GSCC provides education, outreach, advocacy, and resources for our UW–Madison student communities and their allies to improve campus climate and their daily intersectional experiences. The vision of the GSCC is to build a university that actively addresses all forms of oppression and affirms, includes, and celebrates all gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations with an intersectional lens.

The programs, advocacy, and space provided through the GSCC tell a story: you matter, you belong, and there’s a proud community here for you every step of the way. Your support allows the GSCC to connect with thousands of LGBTQ+ students on campus and enhances its work in creating a more inclusive and equitable campus climate. As we continue increasing awareness and allyship, more people seek resources and support. With your help, we can expand the capacity of the GSCC and its direct services while helping to increase its reach across campus.

Thank you for your generosity! Your gift can make a big difference.
