Thanks to the George and Dorothy Pellegrin Wisconsin Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment Fund, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar – up to a group total of $3,000 – during Fill the Hill.
The WAA: Big Apple Badgers established the Wisconsin Eastern Alumni Scholarship Fund (WEASF) more than 50 years ago. Its goal is to make the Wisconsin Experience accessible to talented students from New York City. Today, WEASF makes it possible for these academically exceptional students to pursue their dreams at UW–Madison. WEASF students are accepted to UW–Madison on their own academic merit and represent some of the brightest young people graduating from New York City public high schools. Often first-generation college attendees, WEASF students demonstrate significant financial need. The WEASF scholarship fills outstanding gaps in traditional financial aid packages. Funds are renewable each year provided the student maintains a C average.
