Despite the romantic conception of astronomers working tirelessly at the eyepiece of a telescope, most 21st-century astronomy takes place in the office. How can we adapt this work environment to make it more welcoming for people from all backgrounds? One concrete step is to update one of the existing restrooms in Sterling Hall, home of the Department of Astronomy. We plan to make this space gender-neutral and single-occupancy, as well as add baby-changing facilities. Please help us fund this impactful enhancement to our workplace!
