Astronomy

Gifts of any size to the Department of Astronomy during Fill the Hill will make a difference for our students and our community. We are working in many impactful areas: support for undergraduate and graduate research, such as student fellowships, publication costs, and participation at nationwide conferences like the American Astronomical Society meetings;  enrichment of our community engagement efforts, such as Universe in the Park, Washburn Observatory public viewing nights, and collaboration with community centers and local schools in Dane county, and improvement of our rooftop telescopes for local education and outreach. Please help us fund these important education and outreach activities and improvements!
