Since combining the Departments of Urban and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture into a new Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture (DPLA), we have focused on creating new opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate education. Merging the two disciplines has made the program and its alumni better equipped to lead in a more complicated political, economic, social, and physical environment.
Our department has added curricula annually and is growing rapidly. To remain successful and competitive, we rely on funding through gifts. Donors support student readiness to excel in their professional lives by providing research and travel experiences. Past contributions have enabled students to attend professional meetings and participate in student-research experiences.
Gifts made in support of the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture will be contributed to Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture callable Fund at the University of Wisconsin Foundation.
