The University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement (DDEEA) fosters a vibrant and diverse campus community while supporting the recruitment and retention of students, faculty, and staff from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs. We serve as a central resource to campus, equipping people with the tools to succeed and flourish.
These tools include two of our most successful programs: the Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program (MJLSP) and the Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE) program.
MJLSP, formerly known as the Chancellor’s and Powers-Knapp Scholarship Program, is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship program for undergraduate students that supports outstanding individuals from underrepresented groups.
PEOPLE provides innovative precollege preparation, mentorship, and guidance to low-income and potential first-generation students, not only inspiring them but also preparing them to reach for and achieve their higher education dreams.
When you give to the DDEEA or any of its programs, you provide resources for deserving scholars to reach their full potential. Make an impact and support a legacy of inclusive excellence. Make a gift today.
